# Axiom Prime

Axiom Prime serves as Axiom's DeFi core. Users stake **XRP** into yield-bearing vaults and receive **non-transferable** share tokens (e.g., `aXRP`). As stablecoin liquidity develops on XRPL EVM Sidechain, governance may approve additional vaults for assets like **RLUSD**, **USDC**, **USDT** or wrapped versions of XRP like FXRP, mXRP, and stXRP. These vaults accumulate yield from market activity and define the governance power structure of the ecosystem.

Share tokens are non-transferable to preserve governance integrity. They represent:

* Yield-bearing positions that automatically appreciate as fees flow into the vaults
* Governance weight tied directly to the staker's address
* Eligibility tracking for percentile-based market creation and voting rights

Stakers may deposit or withdraw when they are not subject to active governance locks, but cannot sell or transfer their governance position to another address.
