# Vault Registry

To support a flexible multi-asset future while starting with a robust XRP-first foundation, Axiom uses a **Vault Registry** to define which assets carry governance power.

* Registry: Tracks all active Axiom Prime vaults and their configuration.
* Governance Status: Only vaults flagged as `countsForGovernance` contribute to a user's voting weight.
* Bootstrap Configuration: Initially, only the XRPVault is active and governance-bearing. As stablecoin liquidity emerges on XRPL EVM Sidechain, dev team can add stablecoin vaults during bootstrap (USDC, USDT, RLUSD, or others), or governance can vote to add vaults post-bootstrap once decentralized control is established.
