# Truly Decentralized Resolution

Axiom replaces oracles with stake-weighted truth:

* Top 50 percent stakers propose and challenge outcomes
* Voting is based solely on economic weight
* Incorrect actors are penalized
* Honest actors are rewarded
* Escalation allows full protocol governance if needed

This achieves decentralization without governance tokens or centralized committees.

### **Stake Penalties Make Dishonesty Irrational**

If a proposer or voter behaves dishonestly:

* They lose part of their staked value
* That value is redistributed to honest participants

Dishonesty has a direct financial cost. Accuracy is profitable.

This creates a self-policing ecosystem.

***

### **Permissionless After Bootstrap Mode**

Axiom begins in a protected bootstrap phase, but once it ends:

* Any eligible staker can create markets
* Any eligible staker can resolve outcomes
* All resolution is governed by stake-weighted consensus
* The bootstrap council loses all authority automatically
* The protocol becomes fully decentralized

Users gain complete control over the future of Axiom.
