Axiom is a next-generation prediction market built for XRP and RLUSD holders. It enables users to trade on global events, crypto trends, sports outcomes, political developments, and the speculation culture surrounding Ripple, XRP, and the XRP community. The platform requires no new token, no NFTs, and no special infrastructure. Users simply deposit the assets they already hold and begin trading.
At launch, the public-facing product is the prediction market layer (Axiom). Under the hood, Axiom is powered by a deeper two-layer architecture made up of:
Axiom Theorem (Markets) which is the trading layer where users buy and sell outcome shares in event-based markets.
Axiom Prime (Yield) which is the staking, yield, and decentralized resolution layer that secures market outcomes using stake-weighted governance.
Axiom introduces a new model for prediction markets by linking market integrity directly to economic weight. Users stake value in Axiom Prime to earn yield from market activity, and that same stake determines who can create markets, propose outcomes, challenge proposals, and vote on resolutions. Good governance decisions generate rewards. Dishonest or incorrect decisions result in penalties. This creates a self-sustaining feedback loop where the capital that earns yield is also the capital that protects truth.
Unlike token-based governance systems, Axiom uses non-transferable share tokens tied directly to real staked value. This eliminates governance token speculation, removes liquidity fragmentation, and prevents governance power from being bought or borrowed. Decisions are made by those with the most economic exposure, which aligns incentives around accuracy and honesty.
Axiom Protocol is built on the XRPL EVM Sidechain. It leverages fast settlement, native XRP liquidity, and smart contract capabilities. Users deposit XRP or RLUSD from anywhere (Xaman, Joey, CEX etc.) into the platform, trade in markets, and can withdraw at any time. All bridging and infrastructure complexity are handled behind the scenes using Axelar and SquidRouter.
